Toyota to Invest ₹1,200 Crore for BizIntel Hub in Karnataka

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced an investment of ₹1,200 crore to establish a state-of-the-art BizIntel Hub at KWIN (Knowledge, Wellbeing & Innovation) City in Karnataka. The project marks Toyota's first global BizIntel Hub and is expected to strengthen India's position as a key center for advanced automotive engineering, intelligent manufacturing, and future mobility solutions.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the Government of Karnataka in the presence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and senior Toyota executives. The company plans to invest the amount over the next five years, reinforcing its long-term commitment to India's manufacturing ecosystem.

Toyota's latest investment further strengthens Karnataka's position as one of India's leading destinations for automotive manufacturing and industrial innovation. Leveraging Bengaluru's strong engineering talent and technology ecosystem, the BizIntel Hub will support Toyota's global operations while accelerating localization and next-generation mobility solutions.

The investment also represents the first major industrial project in KWIN City, a planned 5,800-acre integrated industrial and innovation township expected to attract large-scale investments across manufacturing, healthcare, education, and technology sectors.

The BizIntel Hub aligns with India's Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives by promoting advanced manufacturing, digital innovation, and sustainable mobility technologies. The facility will help Toyota improve manufacturing efficiency, develop intelligent production systems, and accelerate research in future automotive technologies.

Toyota's ₹1,200 crore BizIntel Hub investment is a significant milestone for Karnataka's industrial growth and India's automotive sector. By combining smart manufacturing, engineering excellence, and digital innovation, the project is expected to create skilled employment, strengthen India's automotive value chain, and establish KWIN City as a major destination for global industrial investment.
